HISTORY OF HIGHLANDS

1958 - Highlands High School opens its doors.

2007 - Highlands High School is renamed Highlands Academy of Arts and Design and incorporates the former junior high school, Don Julio Junior High.

2010 - Highlands Academy of Arts and Design reverts its name back to Highlands High School.  It also starts a 2 year process back to being a 9 - 12 comprehensive high school.
